Traditional Burmese bread making methods that you can easily make at home

Agar powder: 25 g
(125 g) sugar
Coconut milk: 400 ml
Water: 1500 ml

Add boiled gelatin to a tray.

How to do it

1. Prepare a tray to add the boiled gelatin. Dissolve the gelatin powder, sugar, and water in a deep pot.

2. Bring everything to a boil over high heat once it’s all melted.Stir frequently while cooking to avoid lumps and sticking to the pot.When the gelatin becomes thick, add coconut milk and stir.

3. Once the coconut milk and agar syrup have become quite thick and the rat tail is ready, drop a drop of agar syrup onto a plate.

4. After half a minute, if the dripped agar solidifies, pour it into the prepared agar tray.

5. Once done, allow the gelatin to cool.

Once the jelly has cooled and hardened, you can cut it as you like and prepare it for use.

Banana flour

Ingredients required 

Arakan banana, 20 pieces
Flour, 100 grams
Fine gold powder, 100 grams
Eggs – 3
Sugar: 120 grams
Butter or oil, 100 grams
Dried fruits: 100 grams (raisins)
Coconut milk cream: 300 ml
Coconut flour: 30 grams per bowl
Salt, half a spoon
Poppy seeds, one tablespoon

1. First, in a bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a potato masher.

2. When everything is crushed, add all the remaining ingredients (except the poppy seeds) to the oil.

3. Then put it in a pot, put it on the fire, cook it until the oil thickens, and then pour the batter into the greased baking pan.

4. Make the surface level, sprinkle poppy seeds on top, and bake for about 30 minutes at an oven temperature of 220 degrees below 120 degrees.

5. If the surface of the bread is colored, poke the center of the bun with a small stick and check if the bread is cooked.

Fried bread bracelet

Ingredients required 

Glutinous wheat bread: 160 grams
Soda, half a teaspoon
Salt—a little
Palm flour, 6 pieces
Hot water, one cup
20 sons of oil

1. Put glutinous rice flour and rice flour in a cup and mix.

2. Then add soda, salt, and a cup of hot water a little at a time and knead until it becomes soft and smooth.
